About Brandon

A native of Halifax County, Virginia, Brandon Hudson graduated from the University of Virginia with an undergraduate degree in Political and Social Thought.  Later he was awarded the Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia Law School.  Hudson joined the Virginia state bar in 1993.  He opened his current practice in Halifax, Virginia, in 2003.

Hudson specializes in estate planning.  Services include drafting wills, trusts and other estate planning documents, counseling businesses who need to put a succession plan in place, assisting families in obtaining guardianship or conservatorship for a disabled person, establishing trusts to protect assets, and making sure that we have adequate plans in place to protect our pets.

Hudson also holds a Divinity degree and has served as a hospital chaplain.  He understands that there is frequently more to estate planning than legal concepts; we have to discern our values and concerns and deal with them in an appropriate and respectful manner.

Additionally, he enjoys serving as a director of Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative, has appeared onstage with Halifax County Little Theater, and loves to sing.
